Do I have to be NATE certified to take the classes? When can I start receiving referrals? Do I have to be an ACCA-AZ member to be a part of the program? Can I take the classes without being a part of the program? What if one of the certified technicians leaves the company? Do I have to repeat classes every year when I renew? What classes must the company estimator/Principal attend? What is the cost of the program? If I take a class now, will they count if I decide to be apart of the program later? No, however if you are NATE certified you can receive NATE hours in some of the classes. For more information about NATE Click Here Want to be NATE certified? ACCA-AZ offers NATE Testing and NATE Prep & Testing. Click Here for more information. Referrals will begin January 1, 2009 for those who have completed the program. No Yes, however you will not receive 50 % COOP dollars from APS. Technicians will be allowed to make up the missed classes. The classes will be offered in the Fall of 2010. ACCA-AZ will be offering the core classes in Spring 2010 and Fall 2010. As long as you have another technician going through the program, you can still receive referrals. To renew your membership in the program, you will have to take 12 NATE certified classes as well as repeating one of the core classes of the program. They must attend Part Two of the Manual N, Manual D, and the APS Solutions for Business. What is the cost of the program? Annual membership for the program is $600. Classes cost $825 per technician (price includes APS COOP dollars), plus $225 for principal/estimator to take Manual N, Manual D, and APS Solutions for Business. Yes, however you will have to pay full price for the class. Also, if you do not join the program within a year, the class may expire and you may have to repeat it. This part of the program will come out in 2011. This will allow contractors to receive referrals for Advance Applied Systems, Basic Packaged Systems or Advance Energy Systems. The contractor will complete a series for courses, which can be used for program renewal and allow them to obtain more referrals. For more information Click Here Cancellations received in writing at least 48 hours before the beginning of the class will receive a full refund. No refunds will be made if cancellation is less than 48 hours before the beginning of the class or registrant does not attend (no-show). Upon completion and submittal of the registration form, you are agreeing to abide by ACCA-AZ cancellation policy.
